in progress

near and dear drawings from a former student

these drawings are pretty darn amazing
what touches me the most is that they were made
especially for me by a very bright, young man,
a student in my drawing elective, when he was 12
He must be going on 14 soon
I will always remember how passionate
he was about learning to draw and paint
and I will always treasure these
some of the pictures he drew from are included

You know you're in Woodstock when...

Bob Marley tribute fliers on the ground

cleverly named cheese shops

a pretty waterfall...

some eatery gone crazy renovating...

skeletons driving vans...

with stuff posted all over it...
oh, look, there's Elmo.

peace signs drawn in once wet pavement...

peace sign sculptures with found objects, i.e. stones and computer chips...

peace signs on signs...

eccentric storefronts...

mannequins reminiscent of Archie comics...

clear and helpful directions...

snowdrops....

peace and love incorporated into stone walls...

These Eastern Bluebird photos were taken on Cape Cod
in my parent's backyard. My mother shared them with me and I'd like to share them with you.
These little birds are becoming a rare sight in the east. It is thought that competition over nesting sights may be a critical factor. So this was very lucky opportunity.

Today is a special day. Happy Birthday Aris.
Thought you might appreciate this posting :)
