Weekword-ABUNDANCE

ABUNDANCE
I like the part of the definition that says-
plentifulness of the good things of life
I think of synonyms like~

myriad
plethora
multitude
bountiful
cornucopia-
then I think of Thanksgiving coming

and what I am most thankful for
First and foremost

my family (and friends :) )

the bees

the honey

the flowers

the rain

garden harvests

Color, pattern and inspiration from nature

gifts that remind me of the kindness of friends and family

Art- yes, that sweet painting is from peekadoo lucky me! :)
BOOKS

and bread, yummm. We are definitely a bread-loving family

What do you consider to be the 'good things' of life?

Week Word- Nostalgic

My generation could go on and on with 80's nostalgia... E.T. , Sesame Street, The Electric Company, Saturday Morning Cartoons, toys and action figures, shoe and clothing fads, hairstyles, etc.

But the most nostalgic for me is a where and with whom activity:

That was at the reservoir, in a canoe, with my dad.

Fishing, bird and turtle watching.

Dad in his kayak

These moments with my son, seeing him enjoy and appreciate the natural world help me to relive those experiences. They remind me to never lose that sense of wonder that the world can bring.
